Description

Two Ground Observer Corps volunteers in the interior of the Beltrami County Courthouse's cupola, 1950s. During the Cold War volunteers used the space, which they entered by climbing a ladder, as a headquarters for identifying and tracking airplanes. Used with the permission of Beltrami County Historical Society.
