A sukiyaki dinner at the home of Ruth and Earl Tanbara prior to the presentation of the St. Paul Resettlement Committee papers to the Minnesota Historical Society. Pictured are Russell Fridley (director of the Minnesota Historical Society, standing at left); Hank Makino (friend of the Tanbara family, seated at the table); Howard Nomura (brother of Ruth Nomura Tanbara and president of the Japanese American Citizens League, standing at center); and Ruth Nomura Tanbara (a member of the St. Paul Resettlement Committee, seated). The photograph, from the private collection of Ruth Nomura Tanbara, illustrated an article in the St. Paul Dispatch in 1956.
