Teferi Fufa

Teferi Fufa is a retired educator. He came to Minnesota from Ethiopia as a student in the early 1970s with the hope of getting an education and going back to serve his country. After seeing conditions there deteriorate even after regime change, he decided to become an American citizen and remain in Minnesota. He has three daughters and remains active working on peace and equity issues both in the US and internationally.
